DIRECTIONS:
This 4.8 mile single track secondary trail follows a steep ridge from the Moon Pass Road 456 to Ward Creek Road 327 near Shefoot Mountain. After the unrelenting initial climb up to Big Dick Point, the trail drops 300 feet where it meets up with Trail 501 before again climbing steeply to Shefoot Mountain. The views aboard Shefoot are outstanding, though the experience is diminished a bit by the easy road access available at the top. No water is found along the trail, so bring plenty. This provides a nice loop with Long Liz Trail 190 and the best way is to go up Long Liz and down Big Dick since Big Dick is the steeper trail. This is a favorite trail among motorcyclists.
Be aware, there is a road to the top of Shefoot, but you miss the spectacular views above Big Dick Point, on your way to Shefoot Mountain.
