EASY DELICIOUS GRAVY
INGREDIENTS:
Organic potatoes
2 sprigs of salad onions, chopped
4 or more Regular button mushrooms, sliced.
Baked chicken thighs and breasts from a deli, or cook your own.
Remove all chicken meat and place the bones in a pot to boil.
Boil for as long as you can to draw out the flavor and other benefits of bone broth.
Remove all solids and chicken pieces from the boiling water , and put the broth in a frying pan.
Cook at a medium heat.
Take a 6-8 ounce jar with a lid. Put an inch or two inches of regular flour in the jar.
My grandmother taught me how to make gravy way back in the 60’s.
She insisted that she only adds ice cold water to the flour in the jar.
Cap it and shake thoroughly.
Using a fork, slowly pour in the flour-water mixture, always mixing vigorously with a fork.
When the gravy sets up, add salt, pepper, garlic powder and the fried mushrooms, onions and chicken or other meats, to taste.
