DESCRIPTION:
Lakeview is a tiny town on the east side of Pend Orielle Lake. In the winter, there may be people that live there, but their only access is by boat.
In the non snow months, there is F.R. #278 to Lakeview. In fact, F.R. #278 stretches from Bunco Road East of Silverwood, to Johnson Creek next to the Clark Fork River. It’s a rough road, but also accesses several lakeside communities and camp grounds.
If you visit Lakeview, take the time to walk around town and enjoy this out of the way eclectic town. The town sits on a flat ridge between North Gold Creek and Gold Creek.

Eclectic says it all. Remote boat access, with many boat camp beaches all around bit. Packsaddle stands tall above the east shore line at 6405’.
North of Lakeview is Cedar Creek, Whiskey Rock, Granite, Idaho, Granite Point, Kilroy Bay and Windy Point.

DIRECTIONS:
From CDA, drive north on Hwy 95 to Exit #446, south of Silverwood Theme Park. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto E. Bunco Road for 2.4 miles and turn left (north) onto N. Bunco Road for less then a mile, and bear right onto E. Bunco Road to the ORV parking area. Bear left at the parking area (restrooms) onto F.R. #332 for 6 miles to F.R. #278. Stay on #278 all the way to Lakeview.
