DESCRIPTION:
First and foremost, the Honeysuckle Launch s crowded with little parking near the launch. Adequate parking is along E. Honeysuckle Ave on your way in. When you get to the launch site, drive to the NE corner to unload. There’s a narrow strip on the north side of the “C” shaped swimming docks to access the water. DO NOT TRY TO USE THE BIG BOAT LAUNCH.
Explore the shore line to the SW of the launch into Honeysuckle Bay, then out into the main body.

ATTRACTIONS
Hayden Lake is uncrowded during the week, so plan ahead.
There are several large bays to explore to the east of the launch, including Mokins Bay.
Along the north shore line, about 1.7 miles from Honeysuckle is a development with a man made waterfall that is nice to see and hear while you paddle.
There is a long bay heading north that has another launch. Sportsman Park is small, but usually less crowded.
